GERMANTOWN -- Pharmaceutical manufacturer Alcami hosted an open house at its new location in Germantown Thursday, August 11th.
Alcami is a contract development and manufacturing organization that supports the pharma and biotech industry.
The company makes medicine ingredients and drug products and packages them for market. They are also a test site for the drug products they manufacture.
Testing a new drug product takes anywhere from a year to 10 years.
