One dead, three injured in three separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shooting incidents that occurred Thursday night, June 23rd. One person has died and three others are injured as a result of the shootings.

The first shooting happened around 6:30 p.m, near Teutonia and Villard.

Police say two groups of people were involved in an ongoing feud throughout the day. At about 6:30 p.m. one person from one group opened fire on the other group as they drove past in a vehicle.

A 17-year-old girl was struck by the gunfire. She was transported to the hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department, where she was treated for a non-life threatening injury. A 16-year-old boy received a graze wound.

Around 10:45 p.m. a 26-year-old man, who was suffering from a gunshot wound, was dropped off at a local hospital. The investigation revealed that the shooting occurred near 13th and Brown -- however, the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.

Police say the victim is being treated for what is believed to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Around 11:45 p.m. Milwaukee police were called out to the report of a shooting near 67th and Fairview. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a very serious gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital by MFD, where he later died. The victim has been identified as 38-year-old David McKay.

Circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.

MPD is seeking suspects in each of the shootings.
