MILWAUKEE -- A new study from the National Community Reinvestment Coalition has found deep racial disparities when it comes to mortgage lending in Milwaukee.
The study mostly uses data from 2014, and puts Milwaukee at the third most segregated city behind Detroit and Gary, Indiana.
It found that while African-Americans make up 16 percent of the city's population, the demographic only received four percent of overall mortgage loans.
