WAUKESHA -- The holidays are an exciting yet stressful time of year, especially when it comes to buying and preparing all that food.

"We checked at the stores and stuff and we just couldn't afford it, so I'm thankful for this, very thankful," said Amanda Hall.

Hall is one of hundreds of people receiving Thanksgiving groceries from Molina Healthcare.

"As the smiles go out, you see a little bit of the pressure coming off their shoulders. What a blessed thing to be able to do during this holiday season," said Marti Andro with Molina Healthcare.

Claudia Garcia was thrilled to receive the free food and plans to use this gift to help others.

"It's wonderful. We're going to have a great Thanksgiving and we live in a building that I'm going to share all my food with all my neighbors," said Garcia.

Feeding America provided Molina Healthcare with 200 bags of groceries.

"We have over 10,000 pounds of meats and vegetables and rice and great things that can go on the holiday table," said Andro.

There were no qualifications to receive the food. It was handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis.

"Very happy. Very, very happy," said Garcia.

Molina Healthcare has a nonprofit foundation that assists 1,500 organizations and schools.
