MILWAUKEE -- Attention all interested high school seniors or recent graduates! The Fire and Police Commission’s Police Aide and Fire Cadet Programs are accepting applications through Friday, December 2nd.
Both programs are paid, full-time apprenticeships beginning in the summer of 2017. After successful completion of the two-year program, Fire Cadets advance to the next recruit class for Firefighters, and Police Aides advance to the recruit class of Police Officer upon reaching 21 years of age.
