MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Police Department needs your help to identify the suspect responsible for an armed robbery that happened at the CVS store located near 76th and Capitol on around 12:30 a.m. on September 11th.
The suspect took a bottle of water out of a cooler and approached the checkout counter as if he was going to purchase it. He then told the cashier to give him all of the money in the cash drawer. He then said, "Give me all of the money in the drawer before I put this thing on you," as he held his hand in his pocket as if he had a gun. The cashier opened the register and gave money to the suspect. The suspect then walked out of the store and ran eastbound through the parking lot.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, 6'00", 160-180 lbs., slim build, short hair, mustache, wearing a blue t-shirt, gray sweatpants with a white stripe down the side and black shoes.
