MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred near 27th and W. Burleigh.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7th.
According to police, a 22-year-old man from Milwaukee stated that he was approached by two unknown subjects as he was sitting in his vehicle, as he drove away one of the subjects fired at his vehicle, striking him.
The subject drove himself to a local hospital where he received treatment.
Milwaukee police say their investigation into this incident is ongoing.
