Man walks into middle of argument, ends up being shot and wounded

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened near 17th and Arrow on the city's south side just after midnight on Sunday, August 17th.

The victim, a 37-year-old Milwaukee man, walked out from a tavern into the middle of an argument between two groups. As one of the groups was leaving, someone fired one round striking the victim. The wound is non-life threatening.

The 37-year-old man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

There are currently no suspects in custody, our investigation into this matter is ongoing.
