GURNEE, Illinois -- Police in Gurnee, Illinois say they have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide investigation. The suspect had been living in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

According to a statement issued to WGN Sunday, September 27th, police were looking for 43-year-old David Brocksom, whom they believe was involved in what appeared to be a domestic-related incident.
Brocksom was arrested just before 8 p.m. Sunday during a traffic stop. Officials say he was seen driving towards the Gurnee Police Department parking lot when the officer initiated the traffic stop.
Police on Sunday morning responded to reports of an injured person near Pacific Avenue and Magnolia Avenue in Gurnee. Responding officers found a person dead in a home in the area. The victim is believed to be Brocksom's wife.
Neighbors told WGN the victim in this case and her husband have been separated for two years, and are going through a divorce.
The search for Brocksom extended to northern Illinois and Wisconsin.
