MADISON -- Attorney General Brad Schimel filed a motion with the Wisconsin Court of Appeals on Friday, April 29th seeking an emergency stay of a Dane County Circuit Court judge’s final order on the right-to-work law.
Schimel said the following in a news release:
Right-to-work laws prohibit businesses and unions from reaching agreements that require all workers, not just union members, to pay union dues.
Unions argue that lets non-union workers to benefit from representation for free, and Foust agreed earlier this month.
Schimel's appeal is to the Wausau-based 3rd District Court of Appeals.
