Gunfire breaks out near 2nd and Ring in Milwaukee, two shot and wounded

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say two people were shot near North 2nd and Ring Street on the city's north side Saturday evening, June 6th.

Officials say shortly before 9 p.m., a 21-year-old woman was shot multiple times and a 30-year-old man was shot twice. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment. The woman is listed in critical condition -- the man suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.
