SHOREWOOD (WITI) -- Shorewood police say two suspects wanted in connection with a Wells Fargo Bank robbery on Saturday, April 11th have been arrested in Kansas City, Missouri. They were apprehended on Sunday afternoon.
The robbery occurred on Saturday morning, April 11th, at approximately 9:05 a.m. According to police, two suspects entered the bank together. A female suspect approached a teller and asked to cash a check. Then a male suspect came up from behind the female suspect and displayed a dark colored handgun and demanded cash.

Authorities say the suspects fled out the front door and got into a waiting maroon colored, four-door Chevrolet Impala or Malibu with no license plates. Police say a temporary plate in the back window of the vehicle was ripped down by one of the suspects.
Charges and extradition of the suspects are pending.
