MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), in coordination with officers from the City of Milwaukee Police Department – District 3, have arrested eight individuals after a joint, yearlong drug trafficking investigation on the city’s north side.
On Wednesday, June 11, 2014, DCI special agents and Milwaukee officers executed six search warrants, with significant assistance from the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, resulting in the recovery of narcotics, drug paraphernalia and packaging materials, and nine firearms. This investigation into the trafficking of crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana remains ongoing with additional arrests possible.
“This significant investigation is another example of DCI’s commitment to enforcing our state and federal drug laws,” Attorney General Van Hollen said. “Those who traffick drugs on Milwaukee’s streets, or anywhere else in Wisconsin, put the lives of others at risk with every drug deal they make. Their activity will not be tolerated. I’m thankful for the tremendous investigative work by our special agents within DCI and for the extensive cooperation and contributions of our local partners who helped make this large-scale operation possible.”
“The Milwaukee Police Department is committed to making quality, high-impact drug arrests that take these illegal drugs off our streets,” Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn said. “We are grateful for the cooperation of our law enforcement partners in helping create and maintain neighborhoods capable of sustaining civic life.”
On June 11, 2014, search warrants were executed in the following areas: the 1900 block of North 30th St.; the 1500 block of North 29th St.; the 1400 block of North 39th Street; the 3700 block of West Roberts St.; the 3400 block of North 80th St.; and the 9700 block of West Lisbon Ave.

27-year-old Cordarrel Martin
22-year-old Demetrius Allen
31-year-old Jessica Sellers
