ARRESTED: Police apprehend suspect believed to have robbed U.S. Bank at 37th & Villard

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say a suspect has been arrested in connection with a robbery that occurred at the U.S. Bank near 37th and Villard Wednesday, January 21st.

Police say the suspect was arrested on Thursday near N. 33rd and W. Wells Street.

MPD is investigating whether this suspect may be responsible for other similar crimes in the Milwaukee area.

The U.S. Bank branch was robbed just before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Officials say the male suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, and presented a note that demanded money. The suspect received the money and fled on foot.
