MILWAUKEE -- 33-year-old Lisa Isaac of Milwaukee is charged with felony counts of kidnapping and child abduction. This, for allegedly abducting a child from Starms Early Childhood Center on Thursday, May 24th.
Police say Isaac entered the school and claimed that she was asked by the child’s mother to pick up the four-year-old girl. The woman then left with the child.
Isaac and the child were found at 25th & North, where the child’s mother confronted the suspect and was able to get her child back. Milwaukee police then arrived and arrested the suspect. The child was not harmed.
According to the criminal complaint, Isaac admitted to taking the four-year-old girl from Starms. She had apparently lured the child by telling her, "your mother wanted me to do your hair." Isaac also said, "she misses her six children that are in the custody of the State of Wisconsin due to (her) mental health issues and inability to provide adequate care for her children."
If convicted, Isaac faces up to 40 years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines.
