WEST BEND (WITI) -- Officials in West Bend are investigating an incident involving a stolen vehicle and high-speed pursuit that ended in Slinger on Wednesday, August 28th.
Officials say two vehicles were reported stolen from the 1300 block of Hans Street.
Later, police responded to a shoplifting incident at Walmart, where a stolen vehicle was seen exiting the parking lot, occupied by two men.
Officials say the driver sped off and left the city, headed southbound on Highway 45.
The pursuit continued into the Village of Jackson, where the vehicle exited Highway 45 eastbound onto State Highway 60.
The pursuit ended on Highway 60 just east of Highway 41 in the Village of Slinger, when the driver lost control and struck a guardrail.
There were no injuries to the occupants of the stolen vehicle or anyone else.
Two West Bend men, ages 17 and 16 were taken into custody.
A 16-year-old man was taken into custody at Walmart for the shoplifting incident.
Officials discovered the three men were responsible for the theft of three vehicles which have been recovered.
