GRAFTON -- Two people were hurt after a collision between a car and motorcycle in the Town of Grafton Friday morning, June 15th just before 10 a.m.
Investigators say a 74-year-old man was making a left turn from County Highway C onto Preserve Court. He did not see a westbound motorcycle -- and turned in front of it.
The 21-year-old motorcycle rider struck the man's vehicle and was thrown roughly 45 feet from the crash site. He was wearing a full-face helmet but suffered substantial injuries to his right leg.
The motorcyclist was flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital.
The driver of the car was wearing his seat belt and complained of chest pain. He was taken to Aurora Hospital in Grafton. The driver of the car was also cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.
