MEQUON (WITI) -- Mequon police are looking for help in their effort to find two men who robbed the Bank Mutual branch on N. Port Washington Rd. on Wednesday morning, August 28th.
The bank robbery took place just before 8 a.m. Wednesday. The suspects entered the bank, got an undisclosed amount of money, and took off. Nobody inside the bank was hurt.
Suspect #1 is described as male, black, tall and thin, late 20s, gray hooded sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans, black and white bottom shoes.
Suspect #2 is described as male, black, short and stocky, 5’10”-5’11”, wearing a dark top, loose-fitting blue jeans, white tennis shoes, blue baseball cap with a white logo in the center of the cap, a gray cloth was covering his face.
Any citizen who was in the area of the Starbucks Coffee Shop or Bank Mutual on N. Port Washington Rd. around 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday that observed anything unusual or suspicious is encouraged to contact the Mequon Police Department.
The Mequon Police Department is working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement agencies to find the individuals responsible.
