RACINE -- Officials in Racine responded to a garage fire that quickly spread to surrounding garages near 17th and Thurston Avenue in Racine Friday morning, May 6th.
According to officials, the fire took place shortly after 1:00 a.m.
Authorities say by the time they got to the residence, three garages were up in flames.

The fire damaged three vehicles and the heat damaged four homes.
Power was also lost temporarily when power lines were damaged.
More than $100,000 worth of damage was caused.
No one was displaced.
No other details have been released at this time.
