WAUKESHA CO. -- Dvarion Beamon, the teen who took police on a high-speed chase over four counties, pleaded not guilty Tuesday morning, May 29th during his preliminary hearing. He has also been bound over for trial.
17-year-old Beamon is charged with fleeing an officer in Waukesha County.
Police say Beamon was the driver of a minivan that took police on a high-speed chase that started in Menomonee Falls and ended in Kenosha.
On Thursday, May 24th, Beamon’s lawyer asked the judge that he either be allowed to have a signature bond, or have his bail reduced. The judge in the case denied that request, and left Beamon’s bail at $1,500.
Beamon is also charged in Milwaukee County with stealing a vehicle, and fleeing police.
