ALABAMA (WITI) -- Many turned their tassels in graduation ceremonies this weekend -- but an Alabama high school student's graduation came early -- so that his dying grandmother could see it.
According to FOX6's sister station, WHNT in Huntsville, Alabama, high school senior Jordan Mason's grandmother -- who raised him, was diagnosed with cancer.
Last Wednesday, doctors gave her just three days to live.
That's when those who care about Mason came together -- to organize a special graduation ceremony so that his grandmother had the chance to see him graduate.
Mason's grandmother died hours later.
