Massive amount of dry pasta donated to Salvation Army
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Salvation Army in Milwaukee got a huge donation on Tuesday, January 6th -- and we're proud to say, it's all thanks to a delivery driver who called FOX6 News.
The driver was taking a shipment to a warehouse in Iowa, but two boxes were rejected because they had some damage.
Inside each box was a huge bag of dry pasta. The pasta was still good -- and the driver didn't want it to go to waste.
FOX6 News Managing Editor Mark Vittorio made some calls and connected the driver with the Salvation Army. Officials there said they'd be more than happy to take the delivery.
