OCONOMOWOC -- One thousand bikers dressed in pink may be a rare sight to see, but not if you're at the Rock River Harley Owners Groups' largest charity fundraiser of the year.
Friday, September 25th marks the first night of the 21st annual 'Ridin' to a Cure' event in Oconomowoc.
Each year, motorcycle riders come together decked out in pink, in efforts to raise money for breast cancer research.
Ridin to a Cure
This year, they are raising awareness for male breast cancer.
"Just in our own chapter of 200 people, we have doctors, lawyers, construction workers like myself. We have a wide range of people and we're just out here to raise money to find a cure for breast cancer," said Monte Whiteaker, Ridin' to a Cure.
In the past twenty years, the group has raised over $4.3 million and they hope to say they've raised over $4.5 million after this year's event.
