MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Beginning Tuesday, September 10th, East Michigan Street from North Water Street to North Van Buren Street will be repaved. The project involves grinding off the existing asphalt surface, and replacing it with a new asphalt pavement. New traffic lines, crosswalks, and parking lines will also be added.
Traffic will be affected as follows:
There will be no on-street parking along this corridor during repaving.
This project is scheduled to be completed by Friday, September 13, but as this schedule is weather dependent, repairs may take longer if rain delays or interrupts work.
