WASHINGTON, D.C. (WITI) -- FOX6 News has learned Rep. Sean Duffy (R - WI) was assaulted on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, October 2nd.
According to officials, Rep. Duffy was approached outside the Capitol.
The individual who approached Rep. Duffy was screaming and grabbed Rep. Duffy's arm.
A staffer calls the confrontation "minor -- but physical."
Rep. Duffy was unharmed.
Police say the individual involved may have been upset about the government shutdown.
Police are still seeking the suspect.
