MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a collision that occurred between a squad car and another vehicle near 52nd and Capitol on Wednesday night, November 6th.
According to officials, two police officers assigned to District 7 were injured at about 9 p.m. when a stolen car hit a squad.
The officers were northbound in the 3900 block of N. 52nd Street checking the area for suspects responsible for breaking into cars when a Dodge Intrepid exited an alley westbound at a high rate of speed and struck the squad.
The occupants of the Intrepid, which had been reported stolen, fled on foot after the crash and are now being sought.
The two officers were conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
