GREEN COUNTY (WITI) -- Officials say a plane crashed Monday, March 16th near Juda in Green County. That is about five miles east of Monroe along Highway 11.
The pilot was trying to get to Monroe for fuel, and lost engine power. He tried to land on the road, but missed and ended up knocking out power to the town.
Part of County Highway KS was shut down as crews tended to this crash.
No one was injured.
