MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- 53-year-old Carl Krueger escaped from the Mental Health Complex in Milwaukee around 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, September 12th.
Krueger, a patient at the complex, escaped from a locked Behavioral Health Division facility. Krueger also escaped in March, 2012 and was apprehended in a south side county park.
Krueger is described as a white male, 5'11" tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, and in need of medication.
Authorities say while they do not consider Krueger a danger to the public, he does have a criminal history that includes arson, exposing genitals to a child, lewd and lascivious behavior, and fleeing and obstructing an officer.
A Missing/Endangered warrant for Krueger has been issued and area agencies have been provided with the man's description. The Sheriff's Office Apprehension Unit is actively searching for Krueger.
The Sheriff's Office says Krueger has a criminal history, with arrests for attempted arson in 1985, exposing genitals to a child, lewd and lascivious behavior in Bayside in 1996, disorderly conduct in 1996 and fleeing and obstructing an officer in 2001.
Krueger has been at BHD since 2002.
