SAN DIEGO – Officers rappelled down 100 feet to a ravine to rescue a 10-week-old German shepherd in Pauma Valley in San Diego Tuesday, July 12th.
When San Diego County Animal Services went to the location, they heard a stray pup whimpering from below. The dog had fallen into the ravine and was clinging to a large bush.
One of the officers rappelled down and brought her to safety.
The puppy was recovering at an animal shelter Tuesday and will be up for adoption Friday!
