MILWAUKEE -- You have to get up early in the morning to beat the heat if you're one of those who gets their exercise outdoors.

Doctors suggest getting your exercise in early in the day to avoid the heat. And along with that, they say to stay hydrated while you exercise. The recommend you start drinking water two to three hours before you are exposed to extreme heat. That way it has time to effectively hydrate your body.
