MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a string of robberies occurring since May 29th, and are looking for as many as three suspects they believe may be responsible.
The most recent robbery occurred Saturday, June 9th at the U.S. Bank Branch on N. Farwell Ave. around 10:30 a.m. Police say the suspect presented a demand note for money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police describe the suspect black male in his late teens to early 20s, 5’5″ tall, wearing an LA Kings baseball cap. He had on a black jacket with a white T-shirt underneath.

Surveillance video (see above) shows another robbery that occurred on Tuesday, May 29th just before noon, at the Tri City National Bank on S. 27th St.
Police believe the same robber hit again on Friday, June 8, at the North Shore Bank on W. Oklahoma Ave. around 9:15 a.m.
Police say in both instances, the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller with a demand note for money and fled the scene with cash.
In the June 8th robbery, police say the suspect pushed a female customer away from a teller window and then tried to rip her cash out of her hand. She struggled with him and the money was ripped in half.
As the suspect fled through the parking lot, a dye pack contained in the money detonated and the suspect may have red dye on himself or inside the black bag he was carrying.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, 30-40 years old, 5′ to 5’4″ tall, with a medium build. He wore a multicolored wig in the robbery on the video and a shoulder-length blonde wig in the North Shore robbery. He wore a black baseball cap with a Nike swish on the front, dark sunglasses, and a black hooded sweatshirt with three letters on the front – the center letter appears to be a “C.” The letters are maroon with a white outline.
The suspect had about two to three days’ growth of beard, which was salt & pepper in color.

Police say at 4:12 p.m. Friday, June 8th, a different suspect hit the Associated Bank on N. Downer Ave.
Police describe that suspect as a black male, 5’6″ – 6′ tall, weighing 160-190 lbs.
The suspect was wearing black jeans, brown shoes a blue plaid shirt, black sunglasses and a blue hat. He implied he had a weapon and demanded money.
Detectives are investigating whether he may be connected to any other unsolved bank robberies.
