ROCK COUNTY -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office on Monday, October 5th shared sketches in an effort to identify the remains of a young man found in the woods in Rock County by hunters back in November of 1995.
The remains were found in Rock County in November 1995. The man had been dead for about a year -- suggesting he died in 1994.
The man is estimated to be between the ages of 17 and 20. He had shoulder-length dark brown hair, and he was found with unique items that could provide clues as to who he is.
Officials say he had a rams head pendant made out of a fork, a black Aquatech quartz watch, lip balm, a lighter and cigarette filters with him.
He was wearing a black T-shirt with a "Venom" heavy metal rock band logo on the back, military camouflage pants, a plaid flannel jacket and black Nike Air tennis shoes.
Advanced forensic testing on his bones suggest he spent a significant amount of time in Wisconsin, Michigan, or Minnesota prior to his death.
