MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) announced a partnership between its young professionals affinity group, Next Generation UPAF, sponsored by We Energies Foundation, and The Park People of Milwaukee. Four no-cost "Performing Arts in the Park" events will take place at Milwaukee County parks on Saturday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m., each featuring a performance by a UPAF Member Group.
"The Park People are excited about partnering with UPAF and bringing the performing arts into our beautiful county parks," said Jim Goulee, executive director of The Park People of Milwaukee County. "It is important to highlight the world-class performing arts and extensive park facilities local residents are so fortunate to have access to," Goulee added.
The family-friendly event will feature performances and activities at the following locations:
-Dineen Park Pavilion, 6601 W. Vienna St., Milwaukee
- Greenfield Park Pavilion, 2028 S. 124 St., Milwaukee
- Humboldt Park Pavilion , 3000 S. Howell Ave., Milwaukee
- Wilson Park Pavilion, 1601 W. Howard Ave., Milwaukee
All events will take place indoors, rain or shine. No registration is required, but space is limited; doors will open at 9:30 a.m.
