DOOR COUNTY (WITI) -- A 59-year-old Kenosha man died as a result of injuries sustained in an ATV accident that occurred in the Town of Sevastopol on Saturday, June 7th. The victim has been identified as Dennis Ewaskowtiz.
According to officials, the Door County Sheriff's Office was notified of a personal injury ATV accident around 7:10 p.m.
The investigation showed that Ewaskowitz, the driver and lone occupant of the ATV, was on private property when he failed to negotiate a curve and struck a tree.
Door County EMS and Sevastopol first responders were notified and transported Ewaskowitz to the hospital.
On Tuesday, June 10th, the Door County Sheriff's Office was notified that Ewaskowitz died as a result of the accident.
The investigation into the incident continues.
