KENOSHA -- 18-year-old Garry Climmons is now charged with robbing a TCF Bank branch on 63rd St. in the city of Kenosha.
The criminal complaint against Climmons indicates that he robbed the bank shortly after noon on Wednesday, December 19th. It says he walked up to a teller, removed a rolled up piece of paper, and put it on the counter. The teller opened the note which read, "This is not a joke this is a hold up I need all the money in your drawer no dye packs or I will kill you no joke I have a big gun."
The complaint says Climmons also told the teller, "I don't want anyone to get hurt...Don't push any buttons."
The complaint says the teller removed cash from the drawer and handed it to Climmons, who then took off.
If convicted in this case, Climmons faces up to 40 years in prison and 100,000 in fines.
