GRAFTON -- The Village of Grafton Fire Department worked to save a person after they were hit and trapped under a vehicle near Washington Avenue and Port Washington Road.

The accident occurred Saturday morning, October 31st in the north parking lot of Schmit's Pavilion. Officials say the person was hit by the vehicle, which looks to be a red Kia Soul, and then trapped under it. Firefighters used air bags and cribbing to lift the car off the victim. They were transported to Aurora Grafton for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Authorities have not released any more details at this time.
