MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle that occurred at 8:45 p.m. on Marcia Rd. and Granville Rd. Monday night, June 9th.
According to police, 26-year-old Marco Estrada lost control of his bike while attempting to negotiate a curve.
According to the Medical Examiner's report, Estrada was headed southeast on Granville Woods Rd. when he lost control around a bend and struck a small tree.
The Medical Examiners' report says Estrada entered the right-turn bend at a high rate of speed.
He apparently lost control of his motorcycle when attempting to over-correct.
Officials believe Estrada was ejected from the motorcycle -- striking a tree.
The paramedic stated that he was not wearing a helmet.
