RACINE (WITI) -- Deputies from the Racine County Sheriff's Office arrested three people following a traffic stop on Monday, June 9th after heroin and cocaine were found in the vehicle.
According to officials, deputies from the Racine County Sheriff's Office intimated a traffic stop on a vehicle around 8:15 p.m. on northbound I-94. The vehicle was stopped for various traffic violations.
During the stop, the deputy requested a K-9 sniff of the vehicle.
After a positive alert by the K-9, a search of the vehicle produced 43 grams of heroin and 61.6 grams of cocaine.
The street value of the heroin is approximately $6,430 and the cocaine is approximately $6,160.
It was learned that the drugs were headed to Minnesota from the Chicago area.
27-year-old William Hibbler from Minneapolis, Minnesota, 37-year-old Javon Thomas of St. Paul, Minnesota, and 24-year-old Jeremy Leatherberry of Duluth, Minnesota, were arrested and taken to the Racine County Jail. They are facing the following charges: Possession of heroin with intent to deliver and possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
