BROWN DEER -- Three juveniles are in custody after a hit-and-run crash leads to a strange police pursuit on W. Brown Deer Road near N. 105th Street.
According to Brown Deer police, the hit-and-run occurred near 60th and Dean on Friday, July 1st.
Officers pursued the vehicle that left the scene once it was spotted nearby.
Police say the pursuit weaved around the former Northridge Mall before ending near N. 105th and W. Brown Deer Road.

According to police, two suspects were quickly taken into custody while the third wasn't so easy to catch.
"One of them exited over here to the north and ran into the swampy river area, got stuck in the mud and the water and we were able to, along with the Milwaukee Fire Department get him out of the mud and the water and we have him in custody at this time," said Captain Robert Halverson, Brown Deer Police Department.
Police say K9 officers were used to track the third suspect until he could be heard yelling for help because he couldn't swim.
No one was injured during the crash or pursuit.
No other details have been released.
