Kenosha boy saves mom by calling 911
KENOSHA (WITI) -- A ten-year-old boy from Kenosha is being hailed a hero. When his mother needed him most, young Tyler Bendon came through in a big way.
Andrea Bendon was driving Tyler and his 2-year-old brother home from school when she began having a seizure.
"All of a sudden I'm driving to leave the parking lot and it just gets really dizzy," recalled Andrea.
The woman attempted to pull over, but blacked out before reaching the curb. Tyler immediately jumped into action.
"Before she could step on the gas I put it in park and then I called 911," said Tyler.

As Andrea fell forward in the car, her foot hit the gas -- but thanks to Tyler's instinct, the vehicle stayed put.
"My son knew exactly what to do in that situation, under all that pressure," said Tyler's dad, Daniel. "I told him that what he did saved the three most important people in my life and I'm very, very proud of him."
Tyler has not only been getting props from his family, but from his community as well. His mom, Andrea, has been treated and released from the hospital. She calls her son her hero.
