SHOREWOOD -- Four juveniles were taken into custody early Tuesday morning, August 2nd after they fled from police in a stolen vehicle.
It began around 1:45 a.m. when a Shorewood officer observed a stolen vehicle traveling westbound on Capitol Drive near Wilson Drive.
Police say the driver of the stolen vehicle accelerated after seeing the police squad -- fleeing southbound on North Holton Avenue.
A short time later, the same vehicle was seen entering back onto West Capitol Drive at high rate of speed. Stop sticks were deployed by the Glendale Police Department, causing all four tires to deflate.
All occupants fled the scene on foot.

After a short foot pursuit, two juveniles were taken into custody. A K-9 officer conducted a search of the area for the other suspects that fled the scene. Two additional suspects were taken into custody after being located by the K-9 officer.
A total of four juveniles were arrested and the incident is being referred to the Children’s Court Center for criminal charges.
