RACINE COUNTY (WITI) -- Racine County Sheriff's officials say a 19-year-old Raymond man was taken to the hospital following a crash in which he struck a telephone pole.
It happened early Sunday, August 25th on County Highway G at 43rd Street.
At this time the accident is still under investigation, but speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the accident.
The pole was found to belong to We Energies.
Due to the accident, there was a power line down that blocked access to both County Highway G and 43rd St north of there. The roadway was shut down for a time as officials cleaned up the scene.
