West Allis motorcycle crash near 92nd Arthur, man dead

A West Allis car vs. motorcycle crash left a 21-year-old man dead, the medical examiner's office said Thursday, Sept. 14.

West Allis police officers responded to multiple calls of a crash near 92nd and Arthur around 6 p.m. Officers arrived and found a motorcycle and car at the scene.

Officials said the investigation indicates the motorcycle was traveling northbound on 92nd at a high rate of speed. The car was turning onto northbound 92nd from Arthur, and the motorcycle struck the front side quarter panel.  The driver of the car was not injured. Police said the contributing factor to the crash was the speed.

Fatal motorcycle crash near 92nd and Arthur

The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man from West Allis, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. 

The driver of the car remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
