Southeastern Wisconsin fire weather warning, wind advisory Saturday

A red flag warning for fire weather has been issued for Saturday afternoon, May 1 from noon until 8 p.m. for Dodge, Fond du Lac and Jefferson Counties.

Warm, windy and dry conditions could allow fires to spread -- a red flag warning. Watches remain in southeastern Wisconsin.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the southern half of the FOX6 News viewing area to be in effect from noon through 7 p.m. on Saturday. Forecasters say wind gusts could be well in excess of 50 miles per hour.
