Fire at home on Milwaukee's south side leads to $70K in damage; no one injured

MILWAUKEE -- Firefighters on Tuesday night, November 24th were called out to the scene of a house fire on Milwaukee's south side.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. near 10th and Madison.

When crews arrived on scene they alerted the people inside about the flames -- and everyone made it out safely.



The preliminary damage estimate to the structure and contents is approximately $70,000.

The Red Cross is assisting the residents.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
