BROWN DEER (WITI) -- North Shore rescue teams were called to the scene of a serious crash on Brown Deer Road Thursday morning, October 10th.
The crash involved two vehicles, including a semi-tractor with a trailer and a four-door sedan.
One of the vehicles was so badly damaged that firefighters had to cut open the car to rescue those inside.
Officials say a 70-year-old male passenger of the sedan was extricated, and later died. That man has been identified as James Corroo of Merrill, Wisconsin.
The driver of the semi-tractor was uninjured.
Officials say dense fog was a contributing factor in this crash.
