Marquette University alum Dwyane Wade was handpicked to be the first spokesman beside Michael Jordan himself for Air Jordan basketball shoes.
Wade will unveil the 25th anniversary version of the shoes at the All-Star game in February.
The Miami Heat star grew up in Chicago idolizing Jordan and says the partnership is a huge honor.
The new shoes will retail for $170 a pair.
