WITI-TV, MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee probate lawyer accused of pulling a million dollar con job could soon be facing criminal charges in federal court.

When Leonard Brady was appointed to safeguard the $1.6M estate of Catherine Pretschold, no one doubted his integrity. He was so highly regarded at the Milwaukee courthouse a judge once called him the "grand master of probate".

When nobody was watching Brady sent nearly $700,000 overseas, and paid himself along with others hundreds of thousands of dollars more without court approval.
