Warm weather and cool rainy days are a recipe for a possible carpenter ant infestation. Carpenter ants are attracted to moisture damaged wood and use it as a nesting site.
Experts say there is no effective ant repellent. There is a professional stealth, trojan horse treatment that works. They walk back to their nest with the product still on them...It spreads throughout the colony and it takes care of the colony."
