Racine police are asking for help solving a murder of a popular store owner. The victim, 41-year-old Mohammed Shehadeh, was shot around dinner time Friday at 20th and Racine Streets. Police hope more witnesses will come forward to help them find suspects.
The store remains closed as of Monday evening. There's a growing memorial outside of the building.
Shehadeh was a husband, father and an active member of the Islamic community.
Police say there is no surveillance video of the crime. They are also not speculating on a motive in this crime.
If you have information that can help authorities, you're urged to call 262-635-7700.
